The Vixen’s kit came up on the front deck while I was watching the 6-o’clock news this evening. It was trotting across the deck, and I was surprised. So, my image is just a bit blurred.
Susan thinks that this kit looks a bit gaunt. I think it looks like it is supposed to look – light and sleek – ready to scamper up a tree, if need be.
Your place is the local safe place for these dear creatures!
My next door neighbor’s house is a safe place for them as well. I think that they use the sheltered hollow space under our deck as their winter den. And our water features are a reliable source of water during our miserably hot summers.
