It’s the Society for Hospital Epidemiology of America. The society’s Spring meeting was in Houston this year – hosted by Baylor College of Medicine (our medical alma mater and that of our offspring Nicolas as well).
Offspring Nico presented several educational sessions at this SHEA meeting. Here he appears at one of them. His wife and two children accompanied him on the trip and took in some fun events including a visit to the Cockrell Butterfly Center. We’ve been there before, and it’s a magical treat even if one is not a bio-nerd as are we.
I think that a good time was had by all.
