This evening, we had another bug boil – this time with our friends the Spindels. Enrique and I go back to our early days in clinical practice in Austin – the early 80s. He’s still doing Gastroenterology parttime. His wife Monika has been a reviewer of children’s schoolbooks and is now a professional court translator.
We had our fill of bugs, ate a nice dessert of Flan that Monika brought, and talked about our offspring and movies that we have enjoyed. It was a nice occasion, and we all ate our fill.
We relish such occasions.
