Driving from Omaha to Oklahoma City this afternoon, I heard that Ronny Jackson, former Whitehouse Physician, turned House Rep from Texas, said that the Omicron variant was actually a Democratic plot to force mail-in voting. Omicron, he said, is just the Midterm Election Variant (MEV).
It’s such a shame. Jackson is a well-trained ER physician and Navy retiree who achieved the rank of Rear-Admiral. He’s no slouch. Why would he say something so stupid?
Remember that this is the same physician who reported false height and weight for Donald Trump so that the then President would appear healthier than he actually was. I can only conclude that Dr. Jackson is morally impaired. That makes him susceptible to bribes like an offer to be Sec of the VA despite being clearly unqualified.
It makes him easily corruptible, subject to incipient sycophancy. He’ll say and do whatever will draw the highest praise from his patrons. I guess that makes him no different that many other congressional whores, but I am disappointed that he’s a physician – as I am in Rand Paul and for similar reasons.
I suppose that it just goes to show that physicians are a broad cross-section of their society – everything from saints to sinners, from scholars to fools. ☹️
