We opened the hallway to the kittens yesterday. They had spent one night in the guest bathroom, and we wanted them to become comfortable in the house by gradually introducing them to an enlarging environment. Last night, we opened the master bedroom to them, and this morning they were both sleeping with Susan. Later, they watched at the bathroom’s threshold as I showered.
Later, I opened the rest of the house to them. Then they spent a good while watching Susan shower; only this time they ventured into the shower area itself. When the show was over, they wandered into the living room, sat down in front of the French doors, and watched leaves blow across the deck. They were both there, transfixed for at least ten minutes. The remainder of the day, they have spent chasing after various toys and one another.
This afternoon, just before supper, I spotted Kedi catching up on a much-needed rest after such a busy day.
