There’s a similar line in Star Trek IV (the whales) when Kirk, Spock, Uhura, and Chekov land in Central Park. As they leave the ship, Kirk says, “Everybody remember where we parked.”

This morning, during a nap, I had yet another stereotyped, anxiety-related, dream that has recurred since I retired some 13 years ago. In this dream, I go somewhere unfamiliar to do some errand, park somewhere unfamiliar, and cannot find the car after the chore is completed. Shit!

I woke up from the nap, and Susan told me that she had dreamed of being on another planet where she found an enormous cabbage. She spread her arms to demonstrate something 36″ or more in diameter. I told her about my inability to find the damn car. She recommended some kind of phone app that would map the car’s location. I answered that my next car had to be capable of autonomous navigation.

Later, in the afternoon, I came across a FB post that showed a 28lb cabbage. It was huge! I showed it to Susan and told her that her dream had been prescient.

As for the car, I think I’m just going to summon a Uber. That’s a lot cheaper than buying a beta-test autonomous car!
