It’s Sun-day. Okay, I know that one is a bit overworked.

Today was another clear day, and it looks like clear days until mid-October or later. The layout of today’s post is like yesterday’s. The details of the active regions are shown in the first image, and the sunspot activity is shown in the second.

The main areas of prominence activity appear to be along the northeastern, southeastern, and southwestern limbs of the solar disk. The image below emphasizes them.

New sunspot groups AR3841 in the top left of the image below and AR3842 closest to the eastern (lefthand side) limb have rotated into view. The remaining spots are groups AR3839 through AR3834 stretch across the southern hemisphere.
