Today’s H-alpha solar image shows a dramatic prominence along the sun’s SE limb. The sunspot image shows no new groups.


This cropped H-alpha image highlights the prominence along the sun’s SE limb.

The image below is the sunspot image above with annotation for the active regions. Active Regions 3908 and 3909 are hardly discernible. I think that I’m going to stick with this presentation rather than the cropped cameo that I have been using up to now.
