I did my solar photoshoot earlier than usual today, and it was a good thing because only a couple of hours later, the sky was completely overcast.
Today’s H-alpha image is very similar to yesterday’s – the long prominence along the SE limb persists. The sunspot image shows a new group, AR3910, emerging from the E-NE solar limb.


Below is a cropped H-alpha frame showcasing the prominence and sunspot groups 3905 and 3906.

The annotated sunspot image below shows that AR3908 and AR3909 are still very faint.
