Well, my solar imaging set-up is back up and running after getting a replacement charger for my laptop – no thanks to Jeff Bezos and Amazon who reneged on overnight delivery. I found a replacement at my local Walmart – another billionaire’s store. Sigh.

The sun has a goodly number of sunspot regions today; they are annotated in the image on the right. Groups AR3931 and AR3929 got a question mark because their positions in my image are different from those in a recent NASA image. If the clear weather holds tomorrow; I will try to verify the numbering.

The narrowband image on the left shows many plages and filaments.

Today’s highlights are from the narrowband image – a cropped view of the arch-like prominences along the E-SE solar limb and a plume of sun stuff being ejected from a prominence on the NW limb.
