Luckily for me, this morning’s high-altitude cloud cover dissipated before my usual 2PM DST photoshoot window. Today’s H-alpha image shows prominence activity along both eastern and western solar disk limbs.
The annotated sunspot image below shows that AR3951 and AR3949 have essentially disappeared. AR3947 continues to be the source of solar flares that continue to manifest here on Earth as auroral displays.
