Today’s H-alpha image shows prominence activity along the NE, SE, NW, and SW solar limbs.

The sunspot image below shows 11 active regions – several of them not seen in yesterday’s image. These include AR4041, 4039, 4040, 4038 and 4042 in the eastern and northeastern regions of the solar disk. The last three of these regions are quite faint.

The eastern limb prominences appear below.
