Today’s H-alpha image shows ongoing prominence activity along the NE limb and lesser activity along the SE, NW, and SW limbs. There are four major filaments, and only sunspot AR4087 is clearly visible in the image. There is a bright plage where AR4085 should be, but the corresponding sunspots are not readily visible.

The sunspot image shows three active regions (the NASA SDO image shows four). AR4082 is about to disappear around the western limb to the far side of the sun. AR4087 is very active, and AR4088 is barely visible. AR4085 seen in the NASA image is not visible here.
