There were wispy cirrus clouds over most of our skies this afternoon, and we have rain in tonight’s forecast. Still, I managed to capture some passable image. The H-alpha image today shows nice prominences along the NE, NW, and SW solar limbs. There are bright plages around AR4105 and AR4107.

Today’s sunspot image shows five of NASA’s SDO-designated six active regions. I am not positive that my identification of AR4109 is correct. The NASA image annotations are sometimes difficult for me to decipher.
