Today’s H-alpha image shows prominences along the E-SE and NW solar limbs.

The corresponding sunspot image shows the same active regions that we saw yesterday and a new region, AR4118, near the eastern solar limb. NASA’s SDO image no longer shows AR4113 which had become too faint to see in my sunspot image yesterday. I noticed today that the sun’s disk below is rotated a few degrees counterclockwise compared to NASA’s image. I’ll have address that in my subsequent images.
