Today’s H-alpha image shows small, faint prominences along the E, SE, and NW solar limbs.

The annotated sunspot image below shows five active regions. AR4111 has rotated beyond view to the sun’s far side. The field of view for these images has been rotated clockwise to correct for the orientation error in my past images. The orientation now more closely reflects that of NASA’s SDO images.

The subtle prominences seen in today’s H-alpha image are shown below.
