Today’s H-alpha shows that the dramatic western limb prominences that have persisted for days are now fading as their corresponding filaments disappear to sun’s far side. There are remnants of both the NW and SW prominences as well as smaller features along the NE and SE solar limbs.
The filament that gives rise to the NW prominence still has a little room to run, but the largest filaments now run North to South rather than East to West.

Today’s annotated sunspot image shows AR4123 and AR4124 which have been too faint to see in my instrument. In addition, there are new regions AR4127 and AR4128. Today’s NASA SDO image shows two additional active regions that were present in my image from yesterday but that are no longer visible here.
