Under clear skies, today’s H-alpha image, like yesterday’s, shows minimal prominence activity, and all of the active regions show bright plages.

The sunspot image shows a new group, AR4148 and the disappearance of AR4138 having passed the sun’s western horizon to the far side of the sun. AR4147 is annotated according to where NASA’s SDO image places it, but it is still too faint to see here.
