Today’s H-alpha image shows delicate filaments and patchy plages. There are a few minor prominences along the E, SE and SW solar limbs.

The sunspot image shows six of the nine active regions seen on NASA’s SDO image. The SDO image shows two sunspot groups that have now rotated to the suns far side and AR4155 that is now too faint to see in my image.
