Today’s H-alpha image shows many plages. There are three major prominences along the SE, NW and SW solar limbs. Two of these show a filament terminating in a prominence.
Today’s NASA SDO image shows twelve named active regions. My image below shows only ten of them. The other two are either too faint or too indistinct to see.
