I thought that my Labor Day solar photoshoot would be rained out, but there were breaks in the clouds sufficient to get some acceptable .AVI videos this afternoon. Below, today H-alpha image shows renewed prominence activity along the NE and NW solar limbs. There are some small jets of sun stuff along the SE and SW limbs.

Today’s sunspot image shows nine of the ten active regions seen on NASA’s SDO image.

The NW and NE limb prominences, today’s large arches, appear below.
