Today was another clear day. Below, the H-alpha image shows major loop prominences along the SE and WSW solar limbs. Along the NW limb, there are delicate spikes of sun stuff reminiscent of bubbles of boiling water rupturing at the water’s surface.

The annotated sunspot image shows nine of the ten active regions shown in today’s NASA’s SDO image. Again, AR4209 is too faint to be seen in my image.
