Today’s H-alpha image shows complex prominences along the NE solar limb. Along the NW and SW limbs there are additional areas of prominence activity.
The sunspot image shows that AR4211 and AR4213 have disappeared, and a new active region AR4217 has emerged from behind the eastern solar limb.
