Today’s H-alpha image shows ongoing prominences along the sun’s NE limb. There is additional activity along the SE and WNW solar limbs.

The sunspot image below shows a new sunspot having emerged from the east. Two other active regions seen on NASA’s image are not seen in mine below. It also seems that I labelled AR4216 and AR4217 yesterday – reversing them. Sigh.
