Today’s H-alpha image shows prominences along the NE, ESE, NW, and WNW solar limbs.

The corresponding sunspot image shows six active regions. The two faintest regions in yesterday’s sunspot image have faded from view.
I usually use the active region designations found on the Earth Sky web site to identify the active regions in my sunspot image. When the daily solar image at Earth Sky has not been updated, I use the image at the Space Weather site. The last few days, the two sites have been inconsistent with one another. Today, I have labelled the active regions as they are shown on Earth Sky.
