Below, today’s H-alpha image shows significant prominence activity along the NW and SE solar limbs.

Today’s sunspot image shows a new active region, AR4241, near the eastern limb. Region AR4233 is no longer visible, but its expected location is nonetheless annotated.

The main prominences appear below. Along the NW limb, there is a large mass of sun stuff high above the solar photosphere. Along the SE limb there are complex arches of sun stuff.
