Today’s solar imaging was done under partly cloudy skies. Below, the H-alpha image shows prominence activity along the NE, SE, NW, and SW solar limbs. There are large bright plages near the western limb where active regions AR4236 and AR4232 are located.

The sunspot image shows the same active regions we saw yesterday and a new region AR4245 near AR4242. New regions AR4244 and AR4246 are too indistinct to identify in this image.

The eastern horizon prominences below show a faint arch of sun stuff along the NE limb and blob of sun stuff in the SE associated with a long filament seen against the sun’s disk.

Below, the NW and SW prominences show delicate plumes and jets of sun stuff.
