Below, today’s H-alpha image shows prominence activity along the NW, W, SW, and SE solar limbs. There is also a small prominence along the NE limb. Although I do not usually label the active regions on the H-alpha image, I have done so here because the sunspot image shows only two of today’s five active regions. Here they are represented by the associated bright plages.
