Today’s H-alpha image, like yesterday’s, continues to show prominences mostly along the sun’s western limb. A new sunspot, AR4280, near the eastern limb is best seen by its associated plage.
The sunspot image shows seven active regions. AR4278 has disappeared. AR4280 is new.
