Below, today’s H-alpha image shows seven active regions represented here by their associated plages. The prominences that we saw yesterday along the NW solar limb have become better defined arches of sun stuff. Lesser prominences are visible along the W and SW limbs. A small, incomplete arch is visible along the SE limb.

Below, in the corresponding sunspot image, AR4295 is too faint to be seen.
