Today’s H-alpha image shows nine active regions and prominences along the NW, SW, and SE solar limbs.

The sunspot image shows all of the active regions save for AR4397 which has not been visible in any of my broadband images this week. AR4398 is fading too. The sunspot group that I designated as AR4404 yesterday has actually gotten the designation AR4405 – the other going to a sunspot just east of AR4403.

The gallery below shows today’s modest prominence activity.
