It’s been a couple of weeks since I last posted a solar photoshoot. Almost all of those days were overcast if not raining much needed rain in Central and South Texas. Today was the first clear day since my last solar posting of 04.13.26.

Today’s H-alpha image shows eight active regions and prominence activity along the E-NE, NW, SW solar limbs.

The corresponding broader spectrum image emphasizes the sunspots.

The three largest prominences are showcased below.
