Today’s H-alpha image shows eight active regions. AR4423 has disappeared to the sun’s far side, and AR4433 has emerged from the eastern limb. The main prominences are along the E-NE, NW, SW limbs.

In the corresponding sunspot image below, AR4424 and AR4430, represented in the H-alpha image by their associated bright plages, are too faint to be seen.
