There are some days that just getting out of bed feels like the big accomplishment of that day. Today we were a bit more ambitious. We played musical TVs. We decommissioned the 55″ HD Smasung set in our bedroom because only one of its four HDMI inputs still worked. It’s been flakey for a couple of years now – could be COVID, I suppose.
We moved our 65″ UHD LG TV from the living room to the bedroom, and everything worked perfectly from the start. Then, we unpacked a new 65″ LG that had arrived yesterday in a huge box, and we assembled it (affixed its base to its screen). I then set up the home theater and the streaming services. I couldn’t login to DisneyPlus; their web site seems to be down tonight.
The whole day was blown on these trivialities, and now all I want to do is order pizza and watch TV.
