Today’s H-alpha image shows only five active regions; AR4470, 4472, and 4473 have disappeared. The main prominence activity today is along the sun’s SE and W limbs.

The prominences are showcased below. Note the dark filament that extends from the sun’s face to the western limb; the arch of sun stuff that makes up the prominence is part of that filament.
