Susan bought tickets for us to attend an afternoon showing of Top Gun: Maverick a couple of days ago. It was at one of the smaller theaters at the Alamo Drafthouse, and not a single seat was taken. Before attending the flick, I check on the attendance. It was packed, and the seats either side of us were taken. Shit! We cancelled our tickets leaving the two best seats in the theater for someone younger and more willing to share air and possibly viruses with other movie-goers.
On the brighter side of things, the WordPress server blogging software got updated, and the update fixed the bugs that were introduced in yesterday’s update. Ah, the vicissitudes of software. Another bright note is that our forecast calls for more showers this afternoon. Maybe we’ll get another inch; that would be nice.
As for Maverick and the need for speed, we may have to wait until it becomes available for streaming.
