The wet area in our bathroom has a roll-in shower, a jacuzzi tub, and a custom bay window with two shelves. The lower shelf is porcelain tile, and the upper is glass. The cats, Kedi and Maia, have enjoyed the lower shelf since they joined us here at home. The bay window has sidelights with views of the back and side yards. They sit there and watch the wind blowing through the trees, the birds coming and going and various small reptiles on their daily reptilian errands.
Recently, Kedi has discovered how she can reach the second shelf in order to get an even better view. The high ground is typically preferred by predators; it can confer the advantage of surprise. Here is Kedi – a top shelf cat.
