Susan prepared escargot for this evening’s dinner. I went to the store earlier today and bought a French baguette and a salad. I forgot to buy parsley, Merde! In my defense, nobody had told me that we needed parsley.

I harvested Thyme, Mother of Thyme (a ground cover), Basil, and Greek Oregano from the front deck spice garden, and Susan made do in the absence of parsley. Below is her dish – the heavenly, proteinaceous, pencil erasers of love in a spicy, garlic butter with a French baguette and side salad.

Yummy!
