I know, it’s a tired joke, but I still enjoy it. I went to the Central Market today and bought the ingredients for our favorite seafood salsa – avocado, mango, red onion, jalapeno, and cilantro, with a squeeze of lime and just a dash of salt. Yumm!
I looked for white fish. They had very nice ling cod (pacific white fish) and some halibut as well. It’s been a while since we had halibut; so, that was my choice.
Susan made the salsa as she has done many times before. I panfried the halibut prepared with a coating of homemade pecan crust – 4 minutes on each side. I came out perfectly, and it looked like this.

It’s good to be home.
