Today was another clear day for solar imaging. Below, the H-alpha image shows very active prominences along the West-southwestern solar limb. Some of these are the result of solar activity around AR3889 which was responsible for many intense flares and coronal mass ejections earlier this month. Along the eastern and southeastern limbs, there are other eruptions sending solar plasma jets soaring.
The solar disc image on the right shows the sunspot groups.
