Below, on the left, today’s H-alpha solar disk image shows complex filaments and prominences along the eastern and southwestern limbs. In the broadband solar disk image on the right, some sunspot groups clearly visible yesterday are no longer visible. This difference is due to imaging technique. A new group, probably AR3902, is emerging from the eastern limb.


The prominence along the eastern limb and sunspot group AR3901 are highlighted below followed by an image of the jet and filaments along the southwestern limb.
