And here is the sunspot version. It looks like there is a new sunspot group coming around the eastern solar limb. I have tentatively labelled it AR3944 with a question mark since I haven’t seen a formal AR number assigned to it.

The coronal mass ejections associated with the recent X flares have produced some auroral displays, and there are more to come. Here’s the aurora forecast.
