Today’s solar disk images are rotated somewhat clockwise. I’ll have to address that tomorrow and going forward. Sigh. The H-alpha image below shows some dramatic prominences along the sun’s eastern and southwestern limbs.
The sunspot image shows a new active region – AR3983.
