Today’s H-alpha image shows increased prominence activity along the western solar limb. There is now only a remnant of the large SE loop prominence that we have been following the past two days.

The sunspot image now shows eight active regions. AR4022 and AR4023, close to the eastern solar limb, are indistinct in the image below.

The remnant of the SE limb loop prominence is now more a jet or arc.

Below, heightened activity along the western limb gives us prominences from NW to SW. The bight plage near the SW limb appears to be associated with AR4012.
