There were high cirrus clouds during my observing window today; still, today’s images turned out better than yesterday’s, I think. The H-alpha image shows ongoing prominence activity along the western solar limb, and minimal activity along the eastern limb.

Today’s sunspot image is much clearer than yesterday’s probably as a result of my re-tuning the front etalon in the imaging train (my solar rig has two stacked etalons). The image below shows ten active regions although AR4026 is quite faint. The regions to which I have given tentative designations are followed by a question mark. Tomorrow, we should get formal designations from NASA.
