This set of images is the first in about a week; the skies have been overcast since my last set of images. There are now seven active regions on the sun with the largest and most complex being AR4062. Of these seven, only four are visible in my sunspot image.
The H-alpha image below shows the major active regions as well as complex prominences along the NW, W, and SW solar limbs. Plumes and jets of sun stuff are visible along the NE, SE, and S-SE limbs.

The annotated sunspot image is shown below.

The prominences along the western limb appear in the gallery below. These structures are primarily loops and arches of solar plasma. The most complex of them is the NW structure.



And the prominences along the eastern limb are shown below. These structures are predominantly plumes and jets. Note the dark line that extends from the solar disk to the prominence in the first frame. That line is the same prominence seen against the sun’s disk rather than against the darkness of space.
