Today’s H-alpha image shows prominences primarily along the sun’s western limb where there is a tall arch of sun stuff. The active regions are annotated according to their respective plages.
The sunspot image below shows the same active regions that we saw yesterday plus two more – AR4277 and AR4278. The latter too faint to be clearly visible in this image.
