Today’s H-alpha image again shows six active regions – the newest, AR4503 is best represented by its bright plage. There are also prominences along the NE, SE, and W solar limbs.
The corresponding sunspot image is shown below.
The prominence cameos are shown in the gallery below. The SE limb shows what appear to be spicules rather than full-fledged prominences.
