My post of the Leo Triplet a few nights ago could have been titled, For a Fistful of Photons. If so, adding another two hours of imaging to that earlier effort would be titled For a Few Photons More.

I collected two more hours of data for my Leo Triplet project last night. Below is the composite of 7hr 28min of imaging time through the 130mm F/5 astrophotograph. The processing is much less aggressive than in my previous attempt. The fine galaxy details are real rather than being forced and distorted by processing artifacts. It is easy to over-process images that do not have as much intrinsic detail as we want. Alas!
